The Dell PowerEdge R450 is a 15th generation rack server designed for versatile and scalable performance. It supports up to two 3rd Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors, each offering up to 24 cores, making it suitable for demanding workloads. The server features 16 DDR4 DIMM slots that support RDIMM memory modules up to 1 TB total capacity, running at speeds up to 2933 MT/s.
Storage flexibility is provided with support for up to four 3.5-inch SAS or SATA drives, allowing a maximum capacity of 64 TB using HDDs or SSDs. RAID configurations are supported through PERC controllers including H345, H745, H755, and S150, enabling data protection and performance optimization.
